About Us

The Rotary Club of Grand Rapids became the second Rotary Club in Michigan and the 77th worldwide on March 29, 1913. Since our first meeting in the historic Livingston Hotel, our over 300 members have worked with great care and diligence to fulfill the ideals of Rotary International, and its greatest call to action - Service above Self.

Members of our elite service club are volunteers who work locally, regionally and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace and eradicate disease. In addition to our charitable endeavors, Rotary Grand Rapids offers many opportunities for its members to connect socially and professionally, including weekly luncheons featuring respected speakers who are national figures, state lawmakers and local trendsetters.
